3. Cut a piece (1-1.5 cm per cup) of ginger into small slices, add mint, chamomile, thyme or other herb to your taste, pour boiling water over it. Then add a slice of lemon, sugar or honey to taste.

You can also add berries and fruits, orange and lemon zest, and various spices to ginger tea.

But the use of this root can also have the opposite effect if you are not aware of the contraindications. Ginger root should not be used for gastritis, gastric and duodenal ulcers, liver diseases and gallstones. Use is prohibited for high blood pressure and cardiovascular diseases, after a heart attack.
It is known that in case of toxicosis during pregnancy, in order to get rid of nausea, you need to chew a piece of ginger. But in the second half of pregnancy, this method should be used with caution, because ginger may increase blood pressure, which may be unsafe.
