Production of animal-based things requires far more resources than the plant-based produces. Also, it results in higher greenhouse gas emissions which deplete the ozone layer. A huge amount of our water resources are getting used up in these factories as well. With the looming water crisis all over the earth, turning vegan could be a very smart choice.
